"Last night Julia drew a bath for me, and I soaked it up for about an hour. She was talking to me through most of it. At one point in the conversation, I realized it was time to completely let go of Vimeo.
This meant turning off “The Mechanism” — the subconscious problem-solving process that has been running in my brain for the past few years, trying to figure out how to improve Vimeo, drastically interfering with my ability to relax. When I unplugged the drain, Julia read my mind and said, “Want me to leave you alone?” and I said yes. I sat still for about fifteen minutes while the water drained out, unsubmerging me and leaving me curled up like a baby."
